| At LAR, we run our cow herd just like our commercial customers do. With the extreme weather conditions that can exist in western Kansas, our cows must be able to keep their flesh, raise a good calf and breed back every year - whether there is lots of green grass or little to no grass at all. The cows that can consistently perform, are the cows that make up our herd and therefore are producing the genetic packages we are making available to our customers. Our thoughts are, "if they don't work for us, they will not work for our customers!"
