LAR PHILOSOPHY:
At LAR, we place our focus on producing cattle that will work for the commercial cow/calf producer. We strive to utilize the best Angus genetics available to produce the type of cattle that will perform for our customers. A.I. and embryo transfer are practices used at LAR to mass produce cattle with balanced traits for maternal, growth and carcass. In addition, all bulls are weaned and developed right here at LAR where we can observe and document their performance. Through the use of modern technology and a focused breeding program, we believe that LAR bred cattle will perform at a level that allows our customers to be successful cow/calf operations.
LAR MISSION:
To have a balanced trait breeding program that either maintains or improves in the areas essential to cow herd production and survival in the often times harsh environment in which our cattle must perform.
LAR GOAL:
To continually improve the quality of our own herd, and therefore, the quality of seedstock selections available to our many friends and customers in the cow/calf business. |
